This video is a parody. Albert Silver is
a Brazilian independent information services professional, chess player, chess and computer chess journalist, aficionado, tester and expert. From 1999 - 2002 he was affiliated with Convekta (now ChessOk)
as a software designer for Chess Assistant.
He is author the Silver Openings Suite and the Silver Gambit Suite that are used in test matches between engines. In 2010, after a series of emails and talks with one of the founders of ChessBase. he was brought into the company as an editor and writer for ChessBase News until 2017. Following the release of Google/DeepMind's AlphaZero, his attention shifted to the new neural networks and he "trained" Fat Fritz 2. When Fat Fritz 2 debuted it was advertised as using novel ideas compared to existing
engines, but in reality it was just Stockfish with a
different neural network and a few minor changes that didn't make it any stronger. Read Lichess article...
