    World Championship Fiasco

To be honest I haven’t followed a world championship match since Fischer-Spassky. Oh, I followed the off the board politics of the K-K matches and the shenanigans of Toilet Gate, but all the other ones didn't interest me...especially those ridiculous knockout events.
This last one didn’t interest me either...too short and decided by rapid/blitz games. Really?! Some posters on one forum complained the match was rigged. The comment I liked the best was the one by the fellow who said he felt like was watching a WWE/WWF wrestling match, where the script is pre-written. I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say the games/match was faked, but I like the comparison. Take the following gem.
