    Magnus Carlsen Book

A new book by Norwegian journalist, Hallgeir Opedal, who followed Carlsen for a year sheds light on the episode two years ago when Garry Kasparov briefly became the coach of Norway's Magnus Carlsen. It was billed as the ultimate pairing which would elevate Carlsen to new heights, but after less than six months they went their separate ways because it turned out Kasparov was too disciplined for Cartlsen.
