    The Road to Grandmaster

Road to Grandmaster is a blog detailing the efforts of Will Taylor, a 21-year old British student, to become a chess Grandmaster. He is currently a ‘Class A’ player, with an ECF grade of 152 which equates to a FIDE rating of roughly 1900. £200 has been bet with William Hill at 25:1 on him achieving this goal, which would result in a £5000 payout if he is successful.
The blog was only started in September of last year, so let’s hope Mr. Taylor has better luck than Tom Rose did! He has some instructive analysis of his games that are worth taking a look.
