I find Tarrasch’s games are always interesting and this one against Paul Leonhardt is no exception. Leonhardt plays very aggressively and ingeniously to set up a strong attack against Tarrasch’s King, but Tarrasch had everything under control and won without difficulty.

Here’s a Tarrasch Game to Enjoy!
One of the oldest books in my library is Tarrasch’s Best Games of Chess by Fred Reinfeld. These days Reinfeld does not get any respect either as a good player (which he was) or as an author of chess books. Reinfeld discovered early on that there was no money in writing really good books so he started writing a lot of bad stuff but it sold. The book on Tarrasch was one of the good ones.
