    Dover Books

I am pleased to announce that this site is now associated with Dover Publications! Many of the chess books in my library are by Dover; I like them because Dover books hold up well, cover a wide variety of subjects and, best of all, they are reasonably priced. Check out their books using the like on the left.

    1. Two of the first books that I purchased for my chess library were Dover books by Irving Chernev - "Wonders and Curiosities of Chess" and "The Best 1000 Short Games of Chess". I still have the Wonders and Curiosities book, but the Best 1000 book fell apart after constant use!

    2. Too bad Dover doesn't update these old classics to algebraic.

    3. Chess Praxis and Reshevsky's My Best Games collection was my introduction to Dover books.
