    Internet Chessbase

Internet Chessbase contains 10,593,777 games for free download and the site says the games are updated daily.  Find games by ECO codes, or use the opening explorer; currently there are 610,461 positions. The third search method is searching in the tags of the games. There is also 36 different chess fonts available for download.
I am not sure how current the games are because when searching for my games they were correspondence games dated from 1968 to 2012 and one over the board game from 1976. Searching for a friend's name yielded games going back to 1971 from some really obscure local tournaments, so I am also not sure of the source of the games.  The site could prove useful.
