Bisguier vs. Suttles
I enjoyed playing over this game. It's rare to see a GM get defeated so soundly but the opening line chosen by Suttles was a bad one. The position after the note to black's 20th move is a good position to set up and try various black defenses and see if you can figure out how to finish off the Grandmaster. The tournament was held in Chicago and was won by William Lombardy on tiebreaks over Robert Byrne after both scored an undefeated 11-2. Bisguier and Suttles tied for places 11-19 with 9 pts.
