Ohio's Strongest Player Has Passed Away

Serbian born Goran Vojinovic (March 1, 1963 – June 30, 2016) from Columbus, Ohio was an IM with two GM norms and a professional player with a USCF rating of 2547 and a FIDE rating of 2456. According to the Ohio Chess Association's website he passed away suddenly on June 30, 2016 of an apparent heart attack. Vojinovic was described as a teacher, mentor, adviser, advocate, inspiration, and coach, but most of all he was a caring and compassionate human being. I was unable to locate much else on him or find many of his games, but remember see him at the 2015 State Championship...see post
