    Which Opening to Play

Some chess openings are better suited to your personality than others. A violent King's Gambit will simply not suit a player who prefers a positional approach to the game.  Which opening is right for you? Is it the quiet Caro-Kann? The offbeat Grob Attack? Or maybe the flexible, transposition-loaded English Opening? Take the quiz to find out!

Which chess opening fits your personality?
    Your Result: Four Knights Game
The Four Knights is fairly popular with beginners who strictly adhere to the opening principle "develop knights before bishops." It is occasionally played at higher levels, but most players consider the Ruy Lopez a better attempt for White to exploit the advantage of the first move. The Four Knights usually leads to quiet positional play but there are a few fairly sharp variations.
