Flooded!

I am temporarily “offline” on this Blog.  Monday night (5-19) here was a huge storm in our area which included a tornado not too far away.  As a result our house was flooded with 3 feet of water and we have been living in a hotel awaiting repairs to our house plus doing much of the work ourselves so there has been little time for chess.  I hope to resume posting after things return to something close to normal.

  3. That was certainly unnerving the first time it hit. Like, where all the damage has started. It's best to take note of those things and keep tabs on those accounts, because they should play a welcome part in building a case for insurance. Good luck!

  4. What a disaster! I can only imagine the stress caused by your flooded house. Anyway, I do hope you were able to finish the repairs soon after the flood subsided. Water can weaken the foundations of your home, and I hope you called the pros to check the damage and fix it afterwards. How are you now, by the way?

  5. Glad you survived that calamity, man. I'm so sorry your house got flooded, though. However, I'm sure that the repairs are done by now. I just hope you installed a few flood control systems around your house, so it wouldn't happen again. It was unfortunate that you had to experience that, but learning from it is the best you can do now. Take care! :)
