Everybody knows there are good B’s and there are bad B’s, but when it comes to putting that knowledge to practical use many players are often at a loss as to how to do it. What makes the following game interesting is that the good Bishop rule actually caused a change in the theory of the King’s Indian Defense. It’s always instructive, and a little bit amazing, to watch a really great player make things look easy like Boleslavsky does in this game.
