Ragozin was a most interesting playe...Good article. Ragozin was a most interesting player and while he was past his prime in this tournament and only managed -2, he played some interesting games. However, what you write about Najdorf isn't entirely correct. Najdorf had indeed a simply won ending against Kotov, but he didn't lose it, it was a draw. Najdorf would later lament about all the won games he didn't win against just this opponent, he estimated that he had won a dozen pawns against him without managing to convert his advantages. It is also interesting that Lundin, an usually formidable player had such a nightmare of a tournament. A large part of the reason for this was probably that he had to split the time between work and play, which made preparations for the games virtually impossible.
